A typical pre-built infrared sauna	The modular prebuilt sauna makes it all possible Prebuilt infrared saunas are portable (easy to assemble/disassemble) units which can be setup and relocated with ease. They can be bought over the internet or from bricks and mortar shops and delivered to your door (but make sure in advance the boxes or pieces will fit through your door!) Your prebuilt package should contain all the material needed for a complete fully functional infrared sauna (along with easy to follow instructions). Units usually come in 2 to 5 parts (depending on the size of the sauna) which you connect up yourself, and it is a good idea to have a friend or two present to help hold the pieces in place while assembling. Total assembly time should be approximately 30 minutes to an hour. You can install your infrared sauna on top of any type of flooring including tile, linoleum, hardwood, laminate floors, or even carpet.
Some additional important information Work out where you want to put it before you buy it - you need to know your dimension (length, width and height) limitations. Consider the electrical wiring - some smaller infrared saunas can plug into any electrical outlet, however many mid to larger size models will require a dedicated 15 or 20 amp plug which will need to be installed by a qualified electrician.
